START: 1:00pm in front of the City’s bandshell, which will be placed on Main between Market and Walnut Streets. There is no rain date. The race will take place rain or shine.

FINISH REQUIREMENT: Runners need to complete the course in 35 minutes or less. The parade starts just after the race ends and the course needs to be cleared. If you are unable to complete the course in the time allotted (give or take 2 or 3 minutes), a van can pick you up and drive you to the finish. No one is going to tackle you and put you in the van, but if you’re walking or struggling you’d better hop in or risk getting run down by the Liberty High School Grenadier Band!


REGISTRATION:
$20 before 11:59pm on October 20. $25 after. Race day registration will also be $25 and will open at 10am at the packet pick up and registration table on Main Street next to the City’s bandshell, placed between Market and Walnut Streets. Runners can register at the packet pick-up times (see below.) Register online or pick up a form at Aardvark Sports Shop.


RACE PACKETS:
 Available for pick up on on Saturday, October 5th from 10am to 2pm at Aardvark Sports Shop in the Main Street Commons at Broad & Main Streets. Race day packet pick up begins at 10am at table on Main Street next to the City’s bandshell,  placed between Market and Walnut Streets. All packets must be picked up by 12:00pm on race day.

T-SHIRTS: T-shirts will be given to the first 300 registrants. Sizes can only be guaranteed if registered by October 20.

COSTUMES:
Runners are strongly encouraged to run in costume! 

  Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
          - Best couple or group costume
          - Best look alike
          - Best pun
          - Best political-themed costume
          - Costume most difficult to run in
Costumes will be judged at 12:30pm at the City’s bandshell, placed between Market and Walnut Streets. If you would like your costume judged, please gather there a few minutes before 12:30. Prizes will be awarded following the race at the awards ceremony.

PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Male and Female Finishers, 1st Place Male and Female Finishers in the following age categories: 12 & Under, 13-17, 18-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 55 & Up. Prizes and awards will be given out as close to the completion of the race as possible from the City's bandshell.

PARKING:
Parking is free in the City garages on Sundays. All runners and spectators are encouraged to park in either the North Street or Walnut Street garages.


BATHROOMS:
Public bathrooms are available on the ground floor of the Main Street Commons at Broad & Main Streets.

No dogs are permitted in the race. Strollers are allowed.
